Comrade Do Quoc Tuan - Chairman of Tam Duong District Labor Federation said: Since the beginning of the year, all levels of the district's labor unions have actively disseminated the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's legal policies, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's guiding documents to union members and workers. The role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been focused on, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations. Unions at all levels have proactively followed the grassroots and grasped the situation; patriotic emulation movements have been deployed and implemented extensively, and have been widely responded to by union members and workers. That has created the premise for the district's labor federation to achieve results in its work tasks.
Perhaps until now, many union members, workers and employees of Tam Duong district still remember the cozy atmosphere, full of sharing, the care in both material and spiritual terms of the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Tam Duong district, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Branch in the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" associated with "Tet Union Market" in mid-January 2025. The funding source is from the provincial "Social Union" fund, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and socialization. With the spirit of "All union members and employees have Tet", there are many activities organized here such as: giving 251 gifts to union members and employees in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses; distributing 250 shopping vouchers (worth 300 thousand VND/gift) to 250 union members and policy families in the district to buy free goods for Tet; Visit a member with a serious illness worth 3 million VND.
Ms. Vang Thi Chuyen (Trade Union of Ban Hon Kindergarten) recalled: The program was organized right before Tet. At that time, my family's situation was very difficult, my husband's parents were old, especially my father-in-law had lost sight in one eye. I was worried about how to have a full Tet, then the school's trade union selected me to participate in the program. I received gifts from the Provincial and District Labor Federations; and participated in the "Trade Union Tet Market". Not only did I have a variety of products, but I was also given free shopping vouchers. I was very happy and felt very lucky to be one of the members of the trade union family.

Previously, on January 3, 2025, the District Labor Federation coordinated with Giang Ma Commune and the Giang Ma Primary Boarding School Labor Union to organize a meeting, visit, encourage and support the family of union member Do Xuan Canh who had a work accident and lost 20% of his health with an amount of 2 million VND. From the "Trade Union Society" fund of the Provincial Labor Federation, the District Labor Federation also awarded 5 million VND to support the family of union member Nguyen Cong Tri (Trade Union of the District Culture, Sports and Communication Center) who suffered from a serious illness and required long-term treatment.
It is known that the Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation has directed the affiliated trade unions to closely coordinate with the authorities and employers to select and organize meaningful activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members, workers, civil servants and employees, especially workers and employees in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses. Leave, recuperation and maternity leave are all guaranteed according to regulations. In the first 6 months of this year, sick leave, maternity leave and recuperation benefits were paid to 77 people with a total amount of over 1 billion VND. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union coordinated with the same-level professional staff to consider the proposal to increase salary and seniority in the first phase of 2025 for 373 people, including the proposal to increase salary early for 36 people; consider upgrading and transferring ranks for 480 people.

Activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year, Workers' Month, and International Women's Day (March 8) have been directed and implemented regularly by trade unions at all levels in many forms. Accordingly, trade unions at all levels visited 450 union members with a total amount of over 112 million VND. Trade unions at all levels coordinated to organize many cultural, artistic, and sports activities to improve the spiritual life of union members and workers.
Focusing on solutions to ensure welfare, union members and workers have more confidence in the union organization and actively respond to emulation movements: "Good worker, creative worker", "Green-clean-beautiful and ensure occupational safety and hygiene", "Good advice, good service"... associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Since the beginning of the year, the whole district has had over 400 volunteers, of which 300 union members, workers, civil servants and workers have participated in voluntary blood donation. The trade unions have introduced 13 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, training and admission.
