Winning a major title every 15 minutes is an unprecedented record in world football, and its owner isn't a superstar like Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, or Benzema, but a goalkeeper whose name fans have almost forgotten.

The springboard that propelled 37-year-old "Spider-Man" Scott Carson to glory came from his status as a regular member of the best team in Europe and the world today – Manchester City. In his prime, Scott Carson played for Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Aston Villa, Leeds United, West Brom, and Championship teams like Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County.
In July 2019, Scott Carson joined Man City from Derby County, initially on a two-season loan deal. In 2021, he signed a permanent contract with the Etihad Stadium club on a free transfer. The miracle began from there.
Scott Carson (in green shirt, center) played 107 minutes and won 8 titles.
The former England goalkeeper made only two appearances for Man City over four seasons, and one of those matches was in the Premier League (against Newcastle in May 2021).
Scott Carson didn't even play a single game last season. Despite being only Pep Guardiola's third-choice goalkeeper, behind Ederson and Stefan Ortega, and having played only a handful of games, the 37-year-old was still offered a 12-month contract extension with the English and European champions.
Scott Carson's appearances for Manchester City can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
The reason Man City kept Carson was because of the number of "homegrown" players needed to meet the Premier League's player registration regulations.
With his extensive experience, Carson is always ready to support his teammates in training, and he himself is highly conscious of ensuring he is in good form and ready to play when called up. Throughout his career, the English goalkeeper has made 146 appearances and kept a total of 30 clean sheets in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola is considering, after Carson's contract ends, the role of goalkeeping coach at the Etihad Stadium. That's for the future, but for now, Scott Carson is generating excitement in the English media with his interesting career statistics.
Despite making only two appearances and playing 107 minutes for the Manchester City first team since 2019, Scott Carson has still won eight major titles (three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two League Cups, one Champions League, and one UEFA Super Cup), meaning he's won a trophy approximately every 15 minutes!

...18 years later, he and Man City won the European championship again.
While Manchester City only won the Champions League and the European Super Cup for the first time, goalkeeper Scott Carson has already claimed his second title in both competitions. He was the backup goalkeeper for Liverpool, who won the European Cup in the 2004-2005 season and then the European Super Cup in August 2005.
He also had a stint playing for the England national team.
Man City fans truly adore Carson and were thrilled to see him present on the night the team lifted the trophy in Greece. One Twitter account wrote: "Scott Carson has the best job in the world, 'easy work, high pay'. He's just collecting medals for fun." Another fan enthusiastically commented: "Once again, Scott Carson is the winner of this prestigious award."
