Colorful Festival
According to the organizers, the series of activities celebrating the "Lang Co - World's Most Beautiful Bay 2026" brand will run from May 12th to June 7th, 2026. In particular, all the groundbreaking, large-scale highlight programs will be concentrated in the first week of June.
Kicking off the series of activities is a spectacular opening night on June 6th, where the Lang Co bay area will truly transform into a giant "experiential stage," where traditional culture and modern life intersect. Visitors to Lang Co during this time will be treated to a colorful sensory "feast" with a series of cultural activities, street art, folk dances, and a culinary space imbued with the salty flavors of the sea.

Besides the artistic moments of the creative workshop or the art exhibition space with the theme "Memories and the Present" – which recreates the transformation journey of the heritage land – this year's festival also marks the rise of trendy and dynamic sports trends.
For the first time, a seaside festival will integrate a diverse range of top-tier sporting activities: from the highly popular pickleball tournament for young people, a recreational jogging race along the coast, a women's artificial turf football tournament, to the prestigious "Chan May - Lang Co Bay, World's Most Beautiful Bay" golf tournament. On the lagoon and open sea, sailing demonstrations combined with artistic kite flying will create breathtaking scenes. The series of events will conclude in a serene and romantic manner with a dazzling lantern festival, illuminating the legendary An Cu lagoon.
During the recent April 30th holiday, accommodation and tourism services in Chan May - Lang Co operated at almost full capacity, with a 100% occupancy rate. The total number of visitors and tourists in the area was estimated at 36,500, including approximately 9,125 international visitors. Tourism revenue was estimated at 15.5 billion VND.
Putting the people at the center, committed to a civilized destination.
To achieve such a rich and large-scale scenario, the local authorities and collaborating units had been planning for months in advance.
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Hung (Chairman of the Commune People's Committee) said that the new feature of this year's program is the strong shift in the organizational method. The event has received great support and contributions from units and the business community, following the direction of socialization, reducing pressure on the budget while raising the quality of service.
In particular, environmental issues and tourism safety were given top priority. Before the official opening ceremony, local authorities aggressively implemented a series of comprehensive solutions to improve urban areas, tighten construction regulations, and thoroughly clean up the environment. This aimed to completely eliminate unsightly scenes; self-governing groups were established and began operating professionally on the beach, responsible for continuous waste collection, ensuring security and order, and providing 24/7 drowning prevention services.

Speaking about the local tourism development philosophy, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Hung emphasized: “Besides boosting tourism demand, we pay special attention to preserving the environmental landscape and ensuring absolute safety for tourists. In particular, the locality always encourages proactive participation from residents and service businesses in the area. We clearly understand that the people are both the creators and preservers of cultural beauty, and the direct beneficiaries of the fruits that the tourism industry brings. Therefore, working together to build a civilized, safe, friendly, and attractive tourism environment in the hearts of tourists is the golden key to the sustainable development of Lang Co.”

Mr. Cai Le Chinh Dao (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Chan May Commune - Lang Co) believes that, beyond just one peak week, Lang Co's tourism development this year clearly demonstrates a long-term vision and sustainability. After the official activities of the festival conclude, the government and partner organizations will continue to maintain the unique check-in points, pedestrian zones, and street food areas throughout the year.
This aims to ensure that the needs of tourists flocking to Lang Co during the peak summer months are met, transforming it into a vibrant and experiential destination, not just bustling during the main festival days.
