In the latest Power On news report, journalist Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is preparing to integrate Apple Intelligence into its Vision Pro virtual reality headset in the future.
The device has enough memory to run Apple Intelligence features such as notification summaries, writing tools, and an updated version of Siri. Apple's UI design team clearly needs to ensure that Apple Intelligence looks appropriate in a mixed reality environment. The company also needs to ensure it has sufficient cloud computing capacity to support more devices.
In the future, Gurman believes that Apple Intelligence will become increasingly important to Apple devices and a cornerstone of the company's business. These AI features will be updated more frequently by the company than services like iCloud, at least as frequently as their hardware and software services.
