VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong launches runner shirt

The VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2023's jersey and finisher are inspired by ship anchors and the distinctive colors of the city of flamboyant flowers.

The VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2023 will start on December 17th, marking the final race of the year in the VnExpress Marathon series. A month before the race, the organizers launched a new set of apparel, including a T-shirt, singlet, and finisher's jacket, for athletes completing the 21km and 42km races.

The jersey is orange-red, inspired by the flamboyant flower – the symbolic flower of the port city – while the color of Tam Bac Lake is the main tone for the finisher's jersey. The lines on the jersey are inspired by the bows of ships cutting through the waves and the port cranes stretching across the horizon.

This time, the organizers chose microfiber fabric, which is antibacterial, reduces sweat odor, is thin and breathable, providing comfort to the wearer, and is suitable for outdoor sports activities. This fabric has the advantages of being wrinkle-resistant, less prone to pilling, maintaining its softness, having a long lifespan, and not losing its shape or color over time when used properly.

This pair of shirts uses heat transfer printing technology, allowing for a wide variety of patterns and designs. The heat transfer ink penetrates each fabric fiber, resulting in high colorfastness, sharp images, and resistance to fading during washing and stretching. The product is distributed by Key Power Sports Vietnam.

Athletes can choose between a T-shirt or a singlet, depending on their initial registration. Runners who complete the Half Marathon and Full Marathon will receive a finisher shirt corresponding to the distance they participated in.

The VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong will take place on December 17th, and is expected to attract 9,000 participants. This is the final race of the 2023 VnExpress Marathon series.
