Kun Marathon Hai Phong opens registration portal

Kun Marathon Hai Phong is opening free registration for 1,000 race slots for children aged 6 to 10 at 3 PM on December 4th.

Kun Marathon is coming to Hai Phong city for the first time. The race, for children aged 6 to 10, will take place on December 16th. Each parent can register a maximum of 5 children by filling out the information here. Upon successful registration, parents will receive a confirmation email from the organizers. The system will automatically close once the maximum number of participants is reached.

To ensure the safety of the children, Kun Marathon Hai Phong is limiting the number of participants to 1,500. Previously, on November 2nd, the organizers opened priority registration through a minigame and selected 250 lucky children.

The Kun Marathon Hai Phong is the final race of 2023. Over the past year, the race has registered participants in 7 provinces and cities across the country. In some races in Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, and Hanoi , the organizers opened official registration and reached their capacity in less than an hour, demonstrating the event's immense popularity. Many parents said their children were very excited, having waited for the registration day for months.

Ms. Ha Van ( from Hai Duong ) has two children who have participated in seven Kun Marathon races. This year, the children participated in all three races in the North: Ha Long, Hanoi, and Hai Phong, as well as the Quy Nhon race, which took place during the summer break. She said she always arranges her work schedule to take her children to the races if they don't conflict with their school schedules. "My husband and I have agreed to take our children to run at least three times a year. Because I've noticed that they become more confident, happy, healthy, and mature after each trip. Later, when they're too old to run Kun Marathon, I'll probably buy them a bib to run the 5km race at the VnExpress Marathon," Ms. Van said.

Kun Marathon is a side event of the VnExpress Marathon. Children will have the opportunity to conquer a nearly 1km long course. The course features challenges designed to be manageable and encourage physical activity.

Upon completing the race, the children will receive medals. Starting with the Kun Marathon Hanoi 2023, the medals for children have undergone a design change. Young runners who achieve good results in each leg of the race will receive medals in three colors: gold, silver, and bronze, along with other valuable prizes.

The day before the race, the organizers will distribute race kits. Each child will receive a kit including a canvas bag, T-shirt, cap, bib, and other items. The T-shirt and bib come in five colors, divided by age group from 6 to 10.

Besides getting exercise and improving their health, the children participating in the competition will have the opportunity to interact with celebrities.
