On the evening of October 20th, the National Costume competition of Miss Grand International 2024 officially took place in Bangkok, Thailand, attracting the attention of the beauty pageant community. In this important event, Miss Vo Le Que Anh showcased a costume called "Mother-of-Pearl Inlay" designed by Nguyen Ngoc Tu.

According to the beauty queen born in 2001, the outfit was inspired by the beauty of traditional seashell inlay crafts, creating eye-catching handcrafted products that bear a strong Vietnamese imprint and are closely linked to the history of the nation's fine arts.

"The materials, colors, and patterns on the garments were not readily available, so the designer had to search, research, and create them herself to produce this final product," Miss Que Anh shared.

It is known that the "Mother-of-Pearl Inlay" costume won the Best National Cultural Costume award at the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 (Miss Peace Vietnam) competition.

As soon as Vo Le Que Anh appeared on stage for the National Costume segment of Miss Grand International 2024, she received enthusiastic cheers from the beauty pageant community. The outfit captivated viewers with its sparkling details and eye-catching colors, meticulously crafted by the designer. In particular, the two unique butterfly-shaped fans, which could rotate flexibly, added vibrancy and allure to Vo Le Que Anh's performance.

Therefore, the beauty pageant community hopes that Vo Le Que Anh will continue the success of Vietnamese representatives at Miss Grand International this year.

According to the schedule announced by the Miss Grand International organizing committee after the National Costume presentation, Vo Le Que Anh will compete in the semi-finals on October 22nd. The Miss Grand International 2024 final is expected to be held on October 25th.
