The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a document directing the news and articles related to Ly Tu Trong College. According to the document, on October 25, the media reported news and articles related to the school.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Department of Education and Training to urgently preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports , the City Police, the City Inspectorate and relevant units to review the content of the reflection; make recommendations and proposals to the City People's Committee for strict handling according to regulations (if there are any violations).

Regarding the incident, on October 28, Ly Tu Trong College sent a document to press agencies to present their review and adjustment or to publish an article to clarify the previously published issue.
Many of these issues are related to the illegal temporary collection of tuition fees; the school has not promptly refunded tuition exemptions and reductions; violations in college enrollment; teachers' teaching hours exceeding the norm...
Dr. Dinh Van De, acting principal of Ly Tu Trong College in Ho Chi Minh City, said that the school has sent an explanatory report to the Department of Education and Training, stating that some contents in the inspection conclusion "do not reflect the true nature of the incident, many conclusions are too harsh", which could affect the school's reputation.
“We have provided complete documents and are ready to cooperate with the Department of Education and Training to verify and clarify each content. When there are official results, the school will publicly announce them to avoid misunderstandings and misinformation,” affirmed the leader of Ly Tu Trong College.
