Colonel Pham Dinh Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 3; Dr. Le Hong Liem, former Deputy Head of the Central Party Inspection Committee , Head of the Liaison Committee of former cadres of the Vietnam Youth Union in the South; and more than 100 delegates, all former cadres of the Vietnam Youth Union in the South, conducted the ceremonies and activities in a solemn yet warm atmosphere of camaraderie.
As part of the " Da Nang of Love - Aspiration for Greater Heights" campaign, this is a practical activity aimed at celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), igniting the traditional spirit for officers and youth union members of the 3rd Naval Region to strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks and proudly uphold the tradition of building, fighting, winning, and maturing of the Navy and the 3rd Naval Region.

At the event, the Liaison Committee of former cadres of the Vietnam Youth Union in the South launched a literary and artistic creation contest on the theme "For the beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa"; and presented 20 gifts to children suffering from serious illnesses, undergoing long-term treatment, and facing particularly difficult circumstances, who are children of military personnel and soldiers of the 3rd Naval Region.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Tai, Vice President of the International Alumni Association (iAN), presented a motorbike to the child of a military officer from the 3rd Naval Region who is a student with outstanding academic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year. The total value of the gifts is nearly 50 million VND.
In the coming period, iAN will continue its activities of donating vehicles and more gifts to students and children of military personnel and soldiers who overcome difficulties and achieve excellent academic results nationwide, aiming to encourage young talents and reassure those who are protecting the Fatherland day and night.
