Officers and soldiers of Battalion 563 rescue a fishing boat that ran aground.
At 3:50 PM on June 3rd, officers and soldiers of Battalion 563 discovered fishing vessel KG 31493 TS, engaged in squid fishing, drifting ashore in front of the unit. After running aground, due to large waves, the vessel tilted to its side.
Upon receiving the request for assistance from the ship owner, the Command of Naval Region 5 immediately dispatched 50 officers and soldiers from Battalion 563 to the scene, coordinating with a fishing vessel operating near the area to organize the rescue operation.

The fishing vessel that ran aground (on the left) has been removed from its stranded position.

Fishermen express their gratitude to the officers and soldiers of Battalion 563 after their fishing boat was successfully rescued.
By 5 PM the same day, the rescue team had safely removed the fishing vessel from its stranded position, helping to minimize property damage for the fishermen.
The fishing vessel KG 31493 TS is owned by Mr. Le Cao Cuong, a resident of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone. According to initial information, the vessel's anchor ropes were severed by large waves while anchored in An Thoi Bay, Phu Quoc. At the time of the incident, the crew members had gone home, so there were no people on board.
