The Provincial Farmers' Association has identified the key task in sustainable poverty reduction as creating conditions for farmers to have resources for economic development, transforming production models appropriately and stably in the long term. In particular, the capital source of the Farmers' Support Fund is considered an important support, helping members boldly invest in production, increase income and limit re-poverty. The Associations at all levels carry out this work in many forms, both directly supporting and coordinating with credit institutions to expand access to capital for people.

To date, the total capital of the Provincial Farmers Support Fund has reached more than 205 billion VND, disbursed to more than 5,100 households. Many households, after accessing capital, have converted to suitable crops, invested in machinery or developed new models in a safe direction, initially creating stable income and improving.

In addition, the Association at all levels closely coordinates with credit institutions to support farmers with loans for production. In particular, the Association maintains coordination with the Social Policy Bank to implement 13 credit programs, with 2,026 groups, 109,439 households borrowing, with a total amount of 4,244.6 billion VND. Each recent crop has been profitable, life is much more stable." Mr. Hoa's case shows that when capital is used for the right purpose, it will gradually form a sustainable livelihood and stabilize life.
