According to Tuoi Tre Online , during the three-day holiday, Ha Giang (Tuyen Quang) welcomed a significant increase in visitors, with a sharp rise in the number of private vehicles heading to tourist destinations.
Prior to the holiday, Ha Giang is also expected to be a crowded destination for tourists during the New Year's Day holiday.
Ms. Hai Anh ( Hanoi ) shared that her family spent their entire holiday experiencing the culture of the Northeast highlands in Ha Giang, with an itinerary including the old Ha Giang city - Lao Xa village - Lo Lo Chai, Lung Cu - Ma Pi Leng pass - Nho Que river - Meo Vac and back.
In preparation for the trip, she booked her room in November 2025 to secure her desired accommodation. Ms. Hai Anh said that on the evening of January 2nd, many tourists were careless and did not book rooms in advance, so they had difficulty finding accommodation.

"This year, Ha Giang is a 'hot' destination in the winter, so I think everyone should plan carefully, book accommodation and motorbikes early. At the same time, you should thoroughly check tourism services before deciding to transfer money to avoid scams," she shared.
According to Nguyen Ngoc Do, a local photographer, the bustling and lively atmosphere in Lo Lo Chai village continued on the morning of January 3rd as the number of visitors increased.
