
According to the plan, Yen Lang commune will reorganize from 26 villages down to 17, a reduction of 9 villages. Of these, 16 villages will be reorganized into 7 new villages, 4 villages will be renamed, and 10 villages will remain unchanged as they meet the standards for household size, have independent locations, and stable management.

Within the framework of the conference, the leaders of Yen Lang commune presented decisions to representatives of the newly established villages, and offered flowers to express gratitude to the Party branch secretaries, village heads, and heads of the Fatherland Front Committee who ceased their duties after the implementation of the reorganization policy. Also at the conference, Yen Lang commune awarded certificates of merit to 17 collectives that had achieved success in the village merger work in the area.

Concluding the conference, Pham Van Minh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Lang commune, emphasized that the reorganization of villages is not only aimed at streamlining the administrative apparatus, but more importantly, at improving the quality of operation of the political system at the grassroots level and serving the people even better.

The Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Lang commune requested that Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations promptly stabilize their organizations, complete the handover of files, assets, and facilities; review and consolidate management data and organizational structures of associations and organizations; revise village regulations and conventions to suit the new model; and promote a spirit of solidarity, without distinction between old and new villages. The newly assigned cadres should quickly begin their work, staying close to the people, using work efficiency and people's satisfaction as the measure of their performance.
