Develop many attractive programs for "Green Cat Ba 2024"

To successfully organize cultural, sports , and tourism events aimed at promoting the image of the people and city of Hai Phong to a wide audience of domestic and international tourists, and to highlight the special significance of the event where UNESCO officially recognized Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago as the first inter-provincial/inter-city World Natural Heritage site in Vietnam; the People's Committee of Hai Phong City has developed a plan to organize a low-altitude fireworks display at the Cat Hai District Festival Program in 2024, in response to the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024.

In addition, the 2024 Cat Hai District Traditional Festival will include 10 activities such as: the 2024 Cat Hai District Amateur Arts Festival, the 2024 Cat Hai District Men's Volleyball Tournament, the "Cat Hai Youth - 65 Years of Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" camp; the 28th Hai Phong Newspaper Cup Cat Hai District Dragon Boat Race (expanded); the 2024 Fastest X Cat Ba Amatina Running Race; the 2024 Cat Ba Trade, Tourism and Fisheries Fair...

Green Sand Festival 2023 — Cat Ba Green Festival 2023

A highlight event is the Cat Hai District Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024, held from March 30-31, 2024, at the Cat Ba Central Tourism Square, featuring many attractive activities such as: a hot air balloon lantern night; demonstrations of various types of hot air balloons; hot air balloon tethering experiences; tours inside hot air balloons; and photo opportunities with hot air balloon displays. It is expected that 13 hot air balloons of various types will participate in this event, including 3 giant multi-colored balloons, 6 level 1 balloons, and several ground-based balloons.

The 2024 Cat Hai District Traditional Festival is organized to continue to widely disseminate the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh ; to promote the heroic traditions of the Party Committee, government, military, and people of Cat Hai District; and to effectively implement President Ho Chi Minh's teachings from 65 years ago when he visited: "Our golden forests and silver seas are owned by our people."

This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 1924), in response to the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024. At the same time, it is an opportunity to promote the dissemination, advertising, honoring, and development of the value of the World Natural Heritage site of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago.
