Numerous pieces of debris were scattered across Tran Nhat Duat street. Police simultaneously had to cordon off a section of the road to assist with vehicle recovery.

The leader of Traffic Police Team No. 1 added that the incident resulted in minor injuries to the assistant driver. Initial findings indicate that the vehicle's height exceeded the limit, causing it to get stuck.

The Long Bien Bridge, built over 100 years ago, spans the Red River, connecting the Long Bien and Hoan Kiem districts.

In May 2022, a heavily loaded tricycle drove over a weakened and corroded steel support beam in the road, causing it to break and create a large hole approximately 60x80 cm in diameter. The problem was quickly resolved.

Subsequently, the Long Bien Bridge management unit erected barriers at the bridge's access points to prevent three-wheeled vehicles, handcarts, and vehicles carrying oversized loads from using the bridge.

At the same time, the management unit also put up additional warning signs stating that the Long Bien Bridge is weak and under repair, and that cars and three-wheeled vehicles are not allowed to travel on the bridge.
