With the theme: "The Convergence of Science, Technology and Life in the Digital Age," the conference emphasized the need for systemic, interdisciplinary innovation in the context of rapidly developing digital technology.

Sharing insights on new trends in STEAM education, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, The research team leader at the THRIVE STEM Education Program, University of Missouri (USA) - and Director of the STEAM Institute, Ho Chi Minh City University of Management and Technology, stated that in reality, interdisciplinary connections are a key topic of interest in complex projects in the modern world, especially in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and addressing global issues.
Accordingly, STEAM is a new educational approach that can meet this practical need of society, offering a comprehensive and fundamental approach that promotes creativity, multi-dimensional critical thinking, and extensive interdisciplinary collaboration.

Analyzing 37 selected new studies from 2020-2024, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai outlined recent trends in STEAM education in the digital age. Ethical and socio-cultural issues in the context of digital transformation were discussed, emphasizing the role of STEAM education in preparing learners with the necessary qualities and competencies to become global citizens while retaining their own unique identity.
