Within the area under the station's jurisdiction, drug trafficking, illegal logging, and the transportation of prohibited goods have at times become increasingly complex. As the team leader, Mr. Tú, along with his team and unit, has braved dangers, traversing forests and streams, and staying close to the area to gather information and promptly advise the Party committee and unit commanders on implementing effective measures. In particular, he has always taken the lead in apprehending suspects; conducting initial investigations, consolidating files and documents, and handing them over to relevant authorities for further investigation and processing. In 2025, he and his teammates detected and handled 12 cases involving 17 individuals violating border area regulations, security and order, and illegal logging. Notably, he coordinated with other forces to combat and arrest 14 cases involving 18 individuals committing drug-related crimes, seizing a large quantity of synthetic drugs and other evidence.

Not only is Captain Lo Anh Tu a "tough fighter" in the fight against crime, but he is also a "son of the village," always closely connected with the people in the border area. Under his guidance, the Youth Union of Tam Hop Border Guard Station, in coordination with the commune's Youth Union, organized many practical activities such as "Volunteer Saturday," "Green Sunday," helping people harvest crops, build new houses, clear traffic safety corridors, and raising over 300 million VND to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods.

He also served as a bridge to successfully organize many meaningful programs: "Springtime at the Border Guard Station: Warming the Hearts of the People," mobilizing 15 organizations and individuals to donate 1,500 gifts to poor households; coordinating with the "Thousands of Miles of Love" Fund to organize "Springtime at the Border - Tet for the Poor and Orphaned Children," distributing 36 gifts worth 36 million VND; opening 10 "Houses of Charity," distributing school supplies, clothes, and necessities worth 100 million VND; and together with the Foreign Trade University delegation, organizing a volunteer campaign to donate 580 warm jackets, 50 cash gifts, and many youth projects worth over 317 million VND... Every action of his and his comrades demonstrates the spirit of "serving the people," contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the military and the people, and shining the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the border region.
