Require teachers to stop teaching and learning extra classes while waiting for the province to issue regulations

Khanh Hoa province has stopped extra teaching and learning for each teacher according to Circular No. 29, waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to complete new regulations.

On February 16, Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, said that the unit is currently coordinating with departments, branches and related agencies and units to draft regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province, under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, on February 12, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document assigning the Department of Education and Training to be the agency in charge of drafting a decision on regulations on extra teaching and learning, and submitting it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and promulgation before March 30, 2025.

During the time of developing new regulations on extra teaching and learning, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province requested the Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strictly implement the contents specifically stipulated in Circular 29; inspect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.

Khanh Hoa province is developing regulations on extra teaching and learning, to be promulgated before March 30, 2025.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province also informed that the department has requested its affiliated units to thoroughly inform teachers to stop teaching and learning extra classes before Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training takes effect (from February 14, 2025). Disseminate the contents of Circular No. 29 to all managers, teachers, staff, students and parents to know and comply with the regulations.

The Department of Education and Training also requested heads of units to carefully study the regulations on extra teaching and learning in Circular No. 29; review, adjust and supplement the teaching and education plan for the 2024-2025 school year in accordance with the actual situation of the unit and locality in order to maintain and improve the quality of education.
