Teachers are required to stop giving extra classes and tutoring until the province issues regulations.

Khanh Hoa province has instructed all teachers to stop private tutoring and supplementary classes in accordance with Circular No. 29, pending the Provincial People's Committee's completion of new regulations.

On February 16th, Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province, stated that the department is currently coordinating with relevant departments, agencies, and units to draft regulations on supplementary teaching and learning in the province, as directed by the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, on February 12th, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document assigning the Department of Education and Training as the lead agency to draft a decision regulating supplementary teaching and learning, to be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and promulgation before March 30th, 2025.

During the period of developing new regulations on tutoring and supplementary classes, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province requested the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to strictly implement the contents specifically stipulated in Circular 29; and to inspect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.

Khanh Hoa province is developing regulations on tutoring and supplementary classes, to be issued before March 30, 2025.

The leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Education and Training also informed that the department has requested its affiliated units to instruct teachers to stop tutoring and extra classes before the effective date of Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training (February 14, 2025). The contents of Circular 29 should be disseminated to all administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents so that they are aware of and comply with the regulations.

The Department of Education and Training also requested heads of units to carefully study the regulations on supplementary teaching and learning in Circular No. 29; review, adjust, and supplement the teaching and education plan for the 2024-2025 school year to suit the actual situation of the unit and locality in order to maintain and improve the quality of education.
