Requesting Trung Vuong School to comply with students being off school due to the impact of storm No. 10

QTO - On the afternoon of September 29, information from the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province said that after receiving information that Trung Vuong School in Nam Dong Ha ward organized to welcome students back to school, the department's leaders contacted and requested the school to comply with the direction to let students stay home from school due to the impact of storm No. 10.

Previously, following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to proactively respond to storm No. 10, the Department of Education and Training issued a document requesting all educational institutions in the province to let students and trainees take a day off on September 29. However, Trung Vuong School informed all students to return to school because it believed that the storm had moved to another province and the weather was quite stable.

According to a representative of Trung Vuong School, students were allowed to return to school partly because many parents requested that their children go to school because the storm situation was basically safe.

In response to this information, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested Trung Vuong School to comply with the content of letting students stay home from school in the document previously issued by the unit. The reason is because the forecast of the circulation of storm No. 10 is still very complicated.

Speaking to reporters, a representative of Trung Vuong School said that after all students had lunch, the school notified parents to pick up students immediately and arranged for buses to pick up students from far away as usual.
