Taking photos since 2003, his favorite subject is landscape, followed by daily life. Nguyen Van Su said that fate brought him to photography simply because he found Sa Pa, where he lives, so beautiful. The scenery is wonderful, attractive, spread out before his eyes, so he kept going and taking pictures, falling in love with the misty land and also falling in love with photography.
From his bright smile and fresh face, he exudes optimism, love of life, and love of life. On his personal page, he records moments of crossing passes, climbing slopes, waiting for the sun to rise with his photography team, hunting for clouds, capturing snow-covered hills, flowers and leaves... spring trips, festivals and the unique cultural life of ethnic minorities in the highlands, not only in Lao Cai province, but also in many provinces in the region.
“Thanks to photography, I feel that the misty land where I live is so beautiful and thanks to photography, I love life more, as if the grass, trees, and flowers are waving ahead, it is an endless source of inspiration for me to create more. In 2007, my photos were selected to be exhibited at the Northern Mountainous Region Art Photography Festival, this is a great source of encouragement for me,” Nguyen Van Su shared.
