Accordingly, these are the first 100 schools recognized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee as having met all 6 criteria of the Digital School Recognition Standards: Digital institutions, digital facilities and infrastructure, digital data, digital human resources, digital governance and management, and digital education .
The list of 100 digital schools recognized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee can be viewed HERE .
Among the 100 schools mentioned above, there are 33 primary schools, 38 secondary schools, 25 high schools, and 2 private multi-level schools. Furthermore, the schools recognized on this occasion include those implementing advanced, high-quality programs such as Nguyen Thai Hoc Primary School (District 1), Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School (Thu Duc City), Nguyen Hien High School (District 11)... while the rest are schools implementing the standard curriculum.
According to the Digital School Accreditation Standards, the 100 schools on the list met all six criteria, including digital institutions and regulations and procedures designed to ensure the effective and safe use of digital technology in education. This is a significant step forward in establishing a digital governance foundation at educational institutions.
The proposed digital infrastructure and facilities include modern equipment such as smart classrooms, data management systems, and online teaching support equipment.
Digital data standards ensure that information about students, staff, facilities, and digital learning materials meets the criteria of being "accurate, complete, clean, and active," thereby enhancing data-driven analysis and decision-making capabilities.
The standards emphasize training for administrators, teachers, and staff in information technology and information security, ensuring that all members meet the requirements for working on digital platforms.
Digital education is central to the standards, with a blended learning model combining in-person and online learning through modern learning management systems such as LMS and LCMS. Online educational activities and interactive lectures are encouraged, providing a rich and diverse learning environment.
Accordingly, the aforementioned 100 digital schools will serve as the basis for further consideration in recognizing 50 exemplary digital schools to be awarded plaques commemorating the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
