Candidates on the first day of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year.

For the English exam in the 2023-2024 10th grade entrance exam, 19,801 candidates registered to take the exam throughout the province. 183 candidates were absent from the exam. The reasons for absences in the English exam included: 2 candidates arriving late and not participating; 12 candidates being admitted directly; and some candidates being hospitalized due to illness, etc.

Specifically, in the 2023-2024 10th grade entrance exam, Long An province had two candidates assigned to separate examination rooms. One candidate, from the Nguyen Thi Mot Secondary and High School examination center (Can Giuoc district), took the Literature, English, and Mathematics exams in a separate room; the other candidate, from the Thanh Hoa High School examination center (Thanh Hoa district), took the Mathematics exam in a separate room. The reason for the separate examination rooms was a broken arm.

The first day of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year (June 7th) took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
