Two victims suffered burns covering 30-50% of their bodies.

Information from Trung Vuong Hospital on the morning of May 28th indicated that patient NHH, 16 years old, was admitted with 30% second- and third-degree burns to the face, neck, and limbs, as well as respiratory burns. A head wound had already been sutured.

The second patient, NXV, 25 years old, was diagnosed with respiratory burns and third- and fourth-degree burns covering 50% of the body's body on the trunk and limbs. The patient had a wound on the lower leg which had been sutured.

Firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue people from the blaze.

Both patients have now been transferred to Cho Ray Hospital.

Earlier, at approximately 0:40 AM on May 28th, a fire broke out in a three-story house located on Le Sao Street, Phu Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City. Upon receiving the report, authorities mobilized seven fire trucks and 45 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The fire was brought under control and completely extinguished by authorities at 3:20 AM the same day. According to residents at the scene, by the time they discovered the fire and rushed to help, the flames had engulfed the entrance to the house, making it difficult for those inside to escape. One person inside the house climbed over the fence and was rescued by residents, while another was rescued by authorities from the second floor of the house.

The fire resulted in the death of Mr. VVH (22 years old) and injured two others, who are currently receiving treatment as described above. The cause of this house fire is being investigated by the police.
