As of May 20, which is nearly 5 months, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that it has completed the settlement of 2 cases with petitions. At the same time, the Department is also dealing with 10 petitions, 73 petitions to stop the settlement, 7 petitions not in accordance with the current law and 2 petitions not under the responsibility of the Department.
For 10 proposals that the Department has completed, such as: Allocating additional land for the additional 90,8 m2 of land of Saigon Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company 9; extending the land lease period for the SaiGon Center project (phase 3) of Keppel Land Group; transfer of agricultural land use right of 23.100,8 m2 of land in the social housing project to Le Thanh Trading and Construction Company Limited; transfer of available housing for Saigon Savico Service Joint Stock Company; cancel the decision on land acquisition for Vinh Loc Cultural Ecological Joint Stock Company; recover, allocate land for long-term use, change land use purpose for companies: Le Thanh, Phu Cuong, Dong Nam Textile and Garment, Emico Saigon...
According to Mr. Le Hoang Chau, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment should urgently coordinate with other departments, branches, districts, districts and Thu Duc city to consider further resolving the association's 73 recommendations to help remove difficulties for businesses and increase revenue for the State budget.
