5 members from Andree's team advance to the next round of 'Rap Viet' season 3.

Eight contestants from coach Andree Right Hand's team – SMO, Dlow, Minh Lai, Rhyder, dubbie, STRANGE H, Shorty Thang, and Richie D. ICY – "set the stage on fire" in episode 7 of Rap Viet (aired on July 8th on HTV2) with performances that were considered "full of the spirit and personality of Andree's team." Their four performances showcased the passion of these rappers for rap.

Coach Andree Right Hand paired the SMO brothers and Richie D. ICY together in the battle round. His theme was "Avoidance," with the requirement that the rap song be positive and that "I want this to be a hit!", making the performance even more interesting. Andree's intention in pairing SMO and Richie D. ICY in this performance was to "avoid" all the musical styles they had previously played and break through their own limitations.

Before the competition, SMO said: "Our goal in competing together is to let both our families and relatives see us shine." After the performance, MC Tran Thanh exclaimed: "I can confirm to Andree that all four songs were hits," and coach B Ray commented: "I really liked this performance, it's my favorite so far..."

Regarding this segment of the competition, judge JustaTee said: "Andree is lucky to have two contestants who are both cool and have a touch of humor. Besides being cool, we also need to bring some joy to the world, right?"

The audience votes for the duo were quite close, with 52 votes for SMO and 48 votes for Richie D. ICY. The judges decided that SMO would advance to the next round, while Richie D. ICY would compete in the 8-bar round (the redundancy round).

To add a unique touch to the artwork, coach Andree paired the two handsome men, Rhyder and Dubbie, together for a "showdown".

Coach Andree shared that the appearance of the two contestants in his team reminded him of spoiled rich kids, and Rhyder came up with a novel idea by changing the rhyme scheme to a theme song titled " Spoiled Boy, Spoiled Girl."

Delivering a love R&B rap with a catchy melody, Rhyder and dubbie impressed coach BigDaddy, who immediately shared his feelings: "Andree gave dubbie a perfect place to showcase his part, and Andree emphasized that he could both rap and perform melodically, which combined very well with Rhyder!"

In the studio audience vote, Rhyder received 83 votes and dubbie 17 votes. After deliberation, the three judges decided that Rhyder was the one who commanded the stage and whose song structure delivered bright energy, fitting the theme's color, to advance to the breakthrough round. Rapper dubbie competed in the 8-bar round.

STRANGE H secured their place in the next round ahead of Dlow.

One of the surprising pairings in Andree's team was Dlow – STRANGE H. He chose Dlow and STRANGE H because both have strengths in flow (the way a rapper expresses their own compositions - turning rap lyrics into a unique "melody") and their energies would complement each other.

With the theme of money dreams, the duo's "Money Dream" performance impressed MC Tran Thanh, who immediately rapped a line for the audience. Coach B Ray commented: "I really like the hook (like the chorus, expressing the main message or theme of the rap) of you two, it made me want to dance along…".

Judge Suboi also gave glowing praise: "Dlow's voice today was very clear and beautiful, making the atmosphere in the studio very explosive. As for STRANGE H, I hope after this performance, you'll have a lot of money flowing in like water..."

Dlow received 78 points and STRANGE H 22 points. The three judges decided that STRANGE H would advance to the next round due to his significant improvement in skill, while Dlow would compete in the 8-bar round.

Rap about "tomorrow"

Shorty Thang was chosen by Andree to partner with Minh Lai in the theme "Tomorrow is better than today". Combining their performance of "Nay Mai " with guitar accompaniment by music producer WOKEUP, Minh Lai and Shorty Thang received praise from coach Thai VG: "Up to this point, this is my favorite song. I really liked this performance; the guitar accompaniment was very effective."

Judge JustaTee also showered praise on the progress of each individual. Minh Lai received 68 votes and Shorty Thang 32 votes. The judges decided to let Minh Lai advance and Shorty Thang was the one to move on to the 8 bar round.

During the rescue round, Coach Andree chose the theme "letter to anti-fans" for contestants Dlow, Richie D. ICY, dubbie, and Shorty Thang. Coach Andree had a very difficult time deciding who to continue with, and ultimately, he chose Richie D. ICY. Coach B Ray then went on stage with the golden hat and presented it to Dlow, which Andree greatly appreciated.

At the end of episode 7, Andree's team has 5 members: STRANGE H, dubbie, Minh Lai, SMO, and Richie D. ICY. Dlow moved to coach B Ray's team. Episode 8 of Rap Viet season 3 will air at 8 PM on July 15th.
