This spirit of proactiveness, creativity, and self-reliance was quickly realized through concrete and urgent decisions in the early days after Dong Nai became a city. The Executive Committee of the Dong Nai City Party Committee (1st term) recently issued Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU on launching a special 500-day emulation campaign titled "Unity - Discipline - Efficiency - Breakthrough, building a civilized and modern Dong Nai," continuing to maintain and improve the quality of implementation until 2030. This is a broad political activity requiring mandatory action from the entire political system; with specific goals across six groups of issues: discipline and order; administrative reform; digital transformation and governance; cadre; socio-economic growth; and the satisfaction of the people and businesses.
Looking back at its historical depth, the enduring strength of Dong Nai City today lies not only in its rich traditions but also in its ability to renew itself, its indomitable spirit, dynamism, and creativity; in its courage to think big, act boldly, and take responsibility for the benefit of the people. In the context of Dong Nai entering a new phase of development, the new growth model must not rely solely on exploiting resources and expanding scale, but must shift strongly towards science and technology, the knowledge economy , the digital economy, and the green economy, built upon the foundation of industry, logistics networks, and strategic multimodal transportation infrastructure… Therefore, the emulation movement is particularly closely linked to the requirements of rapid and sustainable socio-economic development. The achievement of double-digit economic growth targets, the efficiency of public investment disbursement, investment attraction, improvement of the investment and business environment, infrastructure development, job creation, and improvement of people's income and quality of life are among the important measures to evaluate the effectiveness of emulation at each level, sector, and locality.
