With the theme "Green Ideas," this year's competition attracted over 24,600 entries from students across 260 schools and clubs nationwide. The organizers announced and awarded 74 individual prizes and 5 team prizes. The focus of the cooperation between Denmark and Vietnam is green growth and green transition towards a sustainable society. The "Denmark Through My Eyes" competition aims to increase the participation of Vietnamese youth in the country's green transition process.
In Can Tho City, the Union of Friendship Organizations of the city received 7,990 entries from students of 113 primary and secondary schools in the city. As a result, Can Tho City had 6 students who were honored with individual awards. Specifically: Phan Nguyen Thien An, class 6A7, Tra An Secondary School, won second prize with the work "Protecting Green Life, Let's Raise Awareness Today". Five fourth prizes were awarded to the following students: Doan Mai Anh, class 4.1, Mac Dinh Chi Primary School, with the work "Friendly, Green, Clean, and Beautiful Environment"; Tran Kha Di, class 3A1, Tran Phu Primary School, with the work "Drawing about Environmental Protection"; Nong Ngoc Minh, class 7A11, An Hoa 2 Secondary School, with the work "Green Farm"; Tran Dong Nghi, class 8A3, Hung Thanh Secondary School, with the work "Protecting a Vibrant Green Environment"; Pham Minh Nguyet, class 7A2, Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, with her work "For a Bright Future".
After winning the First Prize for the collective category three times, this year, the Can Tho City Union of Friendship Organizations is honored to receive the Inspirational Award.
