Observations at the Bien Hoa Parish Church area on the evening of December 24th showed a large crowd of people gathered to pray and enjoy themselves with their families, taking photos with the beautifully decorated displays. Local security forces were also present from early on to ensure the activities proceeded safely.

According to Auxiliary Bishop Nguyen Tuan Anh of the Xuan Loc Diocese, Christmas is a very important holiday for Catholics and is gradually becoming a joyful occasion for all people. At the end of the year, the Christmas atmosphere, from churches to streets and shopping centers, is filled with warm and cheerful colors. Recently, people in the North and Central regions have faced many difficulties due to natural disasters, so Christmas is also an opportunity to pray for peace and well-being for all.

Dalat (Lam Dong province), with its characteristic cool climate at the end of the year, is a favorite destination for tourists during the Christmas season. However, this year the holiday falls in the middle of the week, so the number of tourists is not excessively high. According to observations on December 24th, large hotels still have many vacant rooms, and there is no overcrowding. A representative from Park Hotel Dalat stated that the hotel has 98 rooms available for the Christmas holiday, with prices remaining unchanged compared to normal days. At Merperle Hotel Dalat, with a capacity of 400 rooms (the largest in Dalat), occupancy is only around 50%, significantly lower than the 75-80% occupancy rate during the 2024 Christmas holiday. Similarly, smaller accommodations have not seen a sudden surge in occupancy compared to normal days.
