Echoes of the Homeland Song
(BD) - On the evening of April 25th, at the Quy Nhon City Cultural, Sports and Information Center, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, in coordination with the Quy Nhon City People's Committee, organized a music program with the theme "Echoes of Homeland Songs". This activity celebrated the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese literature and art after the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); and the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh.

The program included 13 outstanding performances featuring songs praising the homeland of Binh Dinh, composed by generations of musicians from the province, such as: "Greetings to Quy Nhon, City of Peace ," "Oh Homeland, We Have Heard," "On the Banks of the Kon River," "The Hands of the Builder," "Under the Quang Trung Monument, I Sing," "The Teacher on a Distant Island," "Land Full of Human Kindness, " etc. The performances were presented by singers, actors, and artists from the province.
Music has become an indispensable element in Vietnamese revolutionary literature and art, contributing to the vivid reflection of life's realities and portraying a beautiful and affectionate picture of Binh Dinh province, a land of martial arts and literary traditions.

Throughout its half-century journey of building and defending the nation, Binh Dinh has produced many talented musicians and artists who have left a deep impression on music lovers and made significant contributions to the renewal of Vietnamese music. Notable examples include composers such as Vinh An, La Huu Vang, Hoang Le, Cung Nghinh, Tran Long An, Phan Quy, Chau Duc Khanh… along with many subsequent generations of composers who continue to write melodies imbued with love for their homeland and country.

Through songs rich in local identity, the program contributes to arousing national pride and love for the homeland in each citizen. This is also an opportunity for the younger generation to better understand the value of the province's music.
