The exhibition will display about 300 photos, taken from the photo collections stored at the Vietnam Film Institute and photos collected from related film production units and studios. The photos are selected from documentaries, feature films, and documents about the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, the peak of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign.
In addition, there are also images of film artists working on the battlefields of the South during the resistance war against the US to save the country. In addition, there are also images of the simple beauty and vibrant, integrated life of Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City today.
The exhibition includes 2 contents: "Cinema with historical moments" (including 3 topics: From the 1968 Tet Offensive and Uprising; The historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign - the great victory of spring 1975; Cinema on the roads of the Southern resistance) and "Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City through the perspective of cinema".

Meanwhile, the film screenings will take place at three different locations.
At Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City will organize screenings and exchanges with film crews on April 27 and 28. Specifically, on April 27, the feature film Wild Field will be screened. On April 28, there will be an exchange with the film crew Tunnels: Sun in the Dark and a screening of the documentary City at Dawn .
Vietnam Film Institute will host the film screening program at Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library (No. 69, Ly Tu Trong Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and Ho Chi Minh City Open University (No. 97, Vo Van Tan Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).
At the Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library, from April 24 to 29, there will be screenings of the documentary The Road to the Front . The documentaries: Some Images of the Liberation of Saigon, Saigon Joyful Victory will continue to be screened from May 5 to 8.
At Ho Chi Minh City Open University on April 25, the documentary Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City: 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament will be screened with episode 2: Moving forward, victory will surely be ours .
