According to The Times of India, at least one person was killed and five injured when a section of the roof at the main airport in New Delhi, India, collapsed on the morning of June 28.

Indian officials and media reported that the incident occurred in the departure area of Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport at 5 a.m. Heavy rain and strong winds caused the roof to collapse, crushing several parked cars underneath.
Medical personnel are urgently treating the injured. Authorities continue the search to ensure no one is trapped in the crushed vehicles. Meanwhile, flights departing from the terminal operated by budget airlines IndiGo and SpiceJet have been cancelled until 2 p.m. that day.
