According to Marca and Relevo , Ancelotti has agreed to become the head coach of the Brazilian national football team.

"Everything was prepared since May. The agreement between the Italian coach and the Brazilian Football Confederation officially took effect in June, not after the FIFA Club World Cup," the Spanish newspaper revealed.

On Real Madrid's side, the Bernabeu club will part ways with coach Ancelotti amicably. "Los Blancos" will pay "Don Carlo" an amount equivalent to one year's contract, along with a grand farewell ceremony to honor his contributions to the club.

Ancelotti won three Champions League titles and two La Liga championships during his two stints at Santiago Bernabeu.

When asked about his future at the press conference after the defeat against Barcelona on April 27th, Ancelotti shared: "Whether I continue at Real Madrid or not is a matter for the coming weeks, not for today."

Earlier, the Italian coach told the press that "analyzing everything at the end of the season" was necessary. Ancelotti also did not confirm whether he would coach Real at the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

The three candidates being considered for the interim manager position should Ancelotti leave are Sporting Director Santiago Solari and two youth team coaches – Raul or Alvaro Arbeloa.

German media reports that Jurgen Klopp has rejected Real Madrid. Accordingly, Xabi Alonso has emerged as the leading candidate for the head coach position at the Bernabeu.
