The meeting focused on a voluntary coalition initiative led by the UK and France, aimed at building long-term security commitments and strengthening coordinated defense support for Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict.
The parties also discussed plans to accelerate the coordination and strengthening of Europe's air defense capabilities, thereby enhancing its ability to respond to regional security challenges.
The meeting is seen as the next step in Britain's efforts to strengthen its security role in Europe. Earlier, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a new generation security treaty with Poland, aimed at expanding defense cooperation and countering threats from Russia.
