Market liquidity declined for the second consecutive session, with a total trading volume of over 1,164 million shares across all three exchanges, equivalent to a total trading value of over 24,605 ​​billion VND.

Foreign investors continued to net sell for the sixth consecutive session across all three exchanges, totaling over VND 1,123 billion, focusing on stocks such as HPG (VND 188.65 billion), MWG (VND 132.3 billion), STB (VND 110.14 billion), DIG (VND 74.32 billion), PDR (VND 73.17 billion), etc.

Conversely, the stocks that saw significant net buying in this session included NVL (VND 219.51 billion), VIC (VND 80.83 billion), GMD (VND 48.68 billion), GAS (VND 45.56 billion), VHM (VND 44.94 billion), etc.

On the HoSE exchange, the trading value in this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching over 20,791 billion VND.

In this session, the stocks that contributed positively to the VN-Index's increase of over 3.27 points included: VIC, VHM, GAS, HPG, VPL, NVL, CTS, DGC, REE, and VPI.

Conversely, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index, causing it to drop by more than 5.89 points, included: CTG, MWG, BID, HVN, GVR, VCB, TCB, MSN, BCM, and VPB.

Energy stocks performed negatively, falling 2.71%, mainly due to declines in BSR , PVS, PVD, TMB, CLM, PVC, CST, PVB, NBC, HLC, MDC, etc. Stocks that rose included TVD and AAH.

* The Vietnamese stock market index closed in the red today, with the VNXALL-Index falling 17.41 points (-0.79%) to 2,182.45 points. Trading volume exceeded 981.67 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over 22,472.41 billion VND. Across the market, 115 stocks increased in price, 65 remained unchanged, and 282 decreased.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 98.49 points, down 0.13 points (-0.13%). Total market liquidity reached over 78.79 million shares traded, with a corresponding trading value of over 620.55 billion VND.
