The most anticipated match of the 27th round of the Premier League, the North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal, lived up to fans' expectations with its excitement.
Tottenham were missing nine key players due to suspensions and injuries, so even though manager Igor Tudor tried his best with a defensive counter-attacking style and the best possible lineup, the "Spurs" were unable to compete on equal terms with their powerful opponents, especially in the second half of the match.
Playing at home under the guidance of new manager Igor Tudor, Tottenham started the match with great intensity. However, Arsenal controlled the game better. In the early minutes, Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard repeatedly tried their luck but were unable to beat goalkeeper Vicario.

Eberechi Eze scored the opening goal of the match.
The visitors' pressure finally paid off after more than half an hour of play. In the 32nd minute, Bukayo Saka made a determined run down the right wing before delivering a perfect cross for Eberechi Eze to delicately touch the ball and open the scoring.
Arsenal's joy, however, was short-lived. Just 24 seconds after Tottenham kicked off, Randal Kolo Muani stole the ball from Declan Rice and coolly finished to equalize 1-1 for Spurs.

The turning point came early in the second half. Just about 90 seconds after the break, Viktor Gyokeres' decisive finish restored Arsenal's lead. Tottenham thought they had responded when Kolo Muani put the ball into the net again, but VAR determined that the French striker had fouled Gabriel Magalhães earlier.

Gyokeres seized the opportunity to put Arsenal ahead after the break.
In an open, attacking game, Arsenal proved sharper and more effective. In the 68th minute, Eze completed his brace with a quick opportunistic strike inside the penalty area, bringing his tally to five goals in the last two North London derbies.

Tottenham rallied late in the game but were thwarted by the brilliance of goalkeeper David Raya, particularly the Spanish "Spider-Man's" save against Richarlison's dangerous backheel shot.

In the 90+4th minute of added time, Gyokeres outmuscled the home defenders before scoring the goal that sealed a 4-1 victory for Arsenal.
The three points secured Arsenal's third win in their last eight matches and temporarily extended their lead over second-placed Man City to five points, although they have played one more game.

...before Gyokeres scored the second goal, sinking hosts Tottenham in the London derby.
For Tottenham, the latest defeat leaves them still struggling in the relegation zone, only about four points above the teams likely to be relegated — a serious warning sign for the North London club for the remainder of the season.
A third consecutive defeat, coupled with a change of manager, has put Tottenham under immense pressure.
