Three regions maintain growth momentum

Today, February 6, 2025, the price of live pigs continues to rise uniformly across all three regions. The North has set a new record at 70,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 6, 2025) in the northern region continued to rise in Bac Giang , Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, and Vinh Phuc provinces, reaching 70,000 VND/kg and 69,000 VND/kg respectively.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between 68,000 and 70,000 VND/kg. Among them, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh , Ninh Binh, and Tuyen Quang have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands region

Similarly, today's live pig prices (February 6, 2025) in the Central and Central Highlands regions also recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg in localities such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, and Binh Thuan . Notably, Binh Thuan province reached the highest price in the region at 71,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region ranges from 67,000 to 71,000 VND/kg. Among them, Khanh Hoa, Hue, and Quang Tri provinces have the lowest prices in the region at 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Pork prices in the Southern region today (February 6, 2025) recorded a rapid increase in localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, Tien Giang and Soc Trang, all rising by 1,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau are purchasing live pigs at 72,000 VND/kg, the same price as Dong Nai and the highest in the country.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region remains fluctuating between 69,000 and 72,000 VND/kg. Among them, Dong Nai, Vung Tau, and Dong Thap have the highest prices nationwide, at 71,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 6, 2025) continue to rise in all three regions of Vietnam. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 67,000 – 72,000 VND/kg.
