Three regions maintain growth momentum

Pig prices today, February 6, 2025, continue to witness a similar trend in all three regions. In which, the North set a new price of 70,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 6, 2025) in the Northern region continued to record an increase in the provinces of Bac Giang , Thai Nguyen, Hanoi and Vinh Phuc, reaching 70,000 VND/kg and 69,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh , Ninh Binh, Tuyen Quang have the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (February 6, 2025) in the Central Highlands region also recorded an increase of 1,000 VND/kg in localities such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Dinh and Binh Thuan . Notably, Binh Thuan province reached the highest price in the region at 71,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 67,000 - 71,000 VND/kg. In particular, Khanh Hoa, Hue, and Quang Tri provinces are the localities with the lowest price in the region at 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 6, 2025) recorded a rapid increase in localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, Tien Giang and Soc Trang, all increasing by 1,000 VND/kg.

Of which, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau purchased live pigs at 72,000 VND/kg, the same price as Dong Nai and the highest in the country.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. In particular, Dong Nai, Vung Tau and Dong Thap have the highest price in the country at 71,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 6, 2025) recorded a sustained increase in localities in all three regions. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 67,000 - 72,000 VND/kg.
