In a surprising turn of events, the global commodities market witnessed a strong return of investment capital in the final trading session of the week. The MXV-Index, a key indicator of overall market performance, recovered impressively after two consecutive days of declines, rising 0.7% to 2,151 points.

Notably, following the previous stable session, silver and platinum prices declined slightly. The weakening of these precious metals did not affect investors seeking safer havens amid continued stock market volatility. This reflects investor optimism regarding the prospects for a global economic recovery, particularly after the release of positive economic data from the US.

The main reason behind the strong recovery in commodity markets is the optimistic investor sentiment bolstered by the positive economic data recently released by the US.

Specifically, according to the latest report from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, the country's GDP for the second quarter has been revised upward to 3%, 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous estimate.
