Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee continues to affirm the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in promoting the tradition and strength of national solidarity, building solid "bridges" between the Party, the State and the people. In the digital age, the above requirement requires the Front at all levels to proactively and quickly enter the digital space, be present wherever there are people, and listen to people in new ways, in line with the trend of the times.
Officially launched on August 15, the “Digital Front” platform is a modern toolkit, designed to closely follow the core tasks of the Front’s work in general, and in the new situation in particular, with five main features: online database; receiving and processing people’s feedback and recommendations; community digital library to support people; virtual assistant serving the advisory work of the Front at all levels; monitoring the progress and results of the Fatherland Front congresses at all levels.
Through the platform's online database software, every day, Front officials at all levels can access to declare information, report organizational data at three levels: Central/provincial, city/commune, ward, special zone; use multi-platform virtual assistants, continuously updated and operating 24/7... to look up professional information for staff work; monitor the progress and results of the Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels according to centralized, synchronous, intuitive, and accurate management criteria corresponding to real time.
For people who need to look up information, “Digital Front” provides a community digital library with authentic and reliable information. Up to now, the library has been connected and integrated with two groups of public service content and a legal library, and is expected to be upgraded soon, supplemented with some information related to people's lives.
In addition, with just one smart device, people can send their opinions, reflections, and recommendations directly to the Front at all levels “in the blink of an eye”. Each opinion is not only intelligently classified, but the entire processing and resolution process can also be tracked.
According to Nguyen Ba Cat, Deputy Chief of Office, Director of the Information and Digital Transformation Center of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, all of the above features are interconnected and can be accessed after only one login. Aiming to improve the effectiveness of the Front's social supervision and criticism, in the coming time, the platform is expected to be integrated and synchronized with the National Population Database and conduct centralized authentication via the VNeID application; at the same time, it will be continuously developed to become a tool closely associated with each Front official, contributing to bringing the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations closer and closer to the people.
Commenting on the “Digital Front” platform, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said: the birth of the platform has contributed to concretizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, which is an important milestone for the Front at all levels in innovating content and methods of operation according to the new model.
Emphasizing the factor of being close to the people to grasp the people's situation, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said that digital transformation activities will become one of the important criteria for emulation, reward and evaluation of the activities of the Front at all levels, especially at the grassroots level - the place "closest to the people". Therefore, the Front at the commune, ward and special zone levels needs to proactively guide people to get acquainted with the platform, at the same time, the Front at the provincial and city levels also needs to be quick and responsive in assigning cadres to the communes to support the resolution of problems and difficulties according to the people's recommendations and reflections on the platform. In addition, it is necessary to mobilize youth volunteer teams to support localities in widely deploying the "Digital Front" platform.
