Bac Ninh announced the decision to appoint leaders and managers after the merger

(PLVN) - On the morning of July 1, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province held a conference to announce the decisions on appointing leaders and managers of departments, branches, sectors and units under the Provincial People's Committee. Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee Office; leaders of departments, branches, agencies, units under the Provincial People's Committee; and comrades who are former members of the Provincial People's Committee. The conference was connected online to 99 connecting points in communes and wards.

At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decisions of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to appoint leaders of departments, branches and sectors for a term of 5 years from July 1, 2025.

Mr. Vu Huy Phuong, Provincial Party Committee member, holds the position of Chief of Office of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, holds the position of Director of the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hieu, Provincial Party Committee member, holds the position of Director of the Department of Finance of Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Duong Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member, holds the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu, Provincial Party Committee member, holds the position of Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Ninh province.

In his speech assigning tasks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that July 1 is an important moment, marking the first working day after the merger of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces. He hoped that the newly appointed comrades would continue to promote their qualities, abilities, intelligence, sense of responsibility; solidarity and unity within the agencies and units, contributing to laying a solid foundation for Bac Ninh province to develop strongly in the new period.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that the immediate task is to quickly stabilize the apparatus, facilities, data infrastructure, and ensure smooth administrative operations, especially at the Public Administration Service Centers. The major focus is to adjust the provincial planning, in which Gia Binh airport is the center, expected to become one of the 10 most beautiful airports in the world with an area of ​​nearly 2,000 hectares, and assign the Department of Construction to soon implement the project of the road connecting Gia Binh airport with the future center of Bac Ninh city, creating a development axis and opening up new development space for the province.

Representing the appointed comrades, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Director of the Department of Construction, expressed his gratitude to the provincial leaders for entrusting him with the task. He pledged to work with the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the construction sector to complete the task well, advise the province to remove bottlenecks, develop infrastructure, and create new momentum and breakthroughs for the province's development.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to say goodbye to 14 comrades who were former members of the People's Committees of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh (old) who retired or transferred jobs and did not participate in the new Provincial People's Committee. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the contributions of the comrades, especially Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh, former Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee, and hoped that the comrades in their new positions would continue to accompany and contribute to the development of Bac Ninh province after the merger.
