On April 23, according to records at the Thuy Van road renovation project, Bai Sau, Vung Tau , many groups of workers were working along the project. The corrugated iron fences blocking the construction site along this road have been dismantled.
Although the project is not yet completed, at present, Bai Sau has changed somewhat. From a shabby, messy beach with shops located close to the edge of the sand, it has now become a spacious space. From a space with a view of the blue sea blocked, it has now become a cool blue seascape.

Along the kilometer-long project, miniature flower gardens have blossomed. The tall coconut trees have had their leaves removed. The walkway along the edge of the sand beach has also been completed... The shape of a beautiful, modern tourist highlight of Vung Tau has emerged at Bai Sau.
Especially from the place where shops and businesses were only for those who came to buy services, now the Bai Sau beach space belongs to the community.

Why is the project in Bai Sau, Vung Tau behind schedule?
At the end of October 2024, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City started the urban renovation project of Thuy Van Street, Bai Sau, with a total cost of nearly 1,100 billion VND. According to the contract between the investor and the contractor, the above project will be completed on April 30, 2025 to welcome guests.
However, up to now the project has progressed about 80% and cannot be completed as scheduled.

According to the investigation, the reason for the delay in the project is due to the delay in handing over the site by the investor and some businesses. Some of the sites were handed over nearly 4 months late compared to the commencement date.
In addition, due to different weather and sea winds during project survey and construction, the seawall items must be adjusted.
Therefore, the investor proposed to extend the technical infrastructure project with an amount of more than VND billion until June 30, 2025. The remaining project of Thuy Van Square was extended until October 2025.
