During a recent visit and working session with the Cat Cat tourist area, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh stated: Requiring a change in mindset regarding tourism development, Cat Cat needs to continue creating innovative products, improving service quality, and establishing its own unique identity.

The Cat Cat village is enchanting and magical at night. From the center of Sa Pa ward, tourists travel about 3km to reach Cat Cat village - the most beautiful Hmong village in Northwest Vietnam.
