The final round of matches in the V-League 2023-2024 took place simultaneously at 5 PM today (June 30), with a spectacular conclusion for the races at both ends of the standings.
After Nam Dinh FC secured the championship title one round early, the runner-up and third-place positions were already decided in round 26. Binh Dinh FC impressively defeated Hanoi Police FC (CAHN FC) 4-1 to claim the runner-up spot with 47 points. In the final match, despite resting key players, Nam Dinh FC easily defeated Quang Nam FC at Hoa Xuan Stadium with a score of 3-1.
Meanwhile, Hanoi FC produced a high-scoring match against Binh Duong , with the two teams drawing 3-3. Ultimately, coach Daiki Iwamasa's team finished third with 43 points.

Nam Dinh team won easily in the final match.

LPBank HAGL avoids relegation.

SLNA celebrated as if they had won the championship.
MINH TU
Ho Chi Minh City FC defeated Khanh Hoa FC (already relegated) 1-0 at the August 19th Stadium to climb to 4th place, pushing The Cong Viettel down to 5th. This is also Ho Chi Minh City FC's best ranking in the V-League since the 2019 season, when coach Chung Hae-seong led the team to a runner-up finish. The 6th, 7th, and 8th positions were occupied by CAHN FC, Hai Phong FC, and Binh Duong FC, respectively.
Tensions were high in the relegation battle. LPBank HAGL came from behind to beat Hai Phong 2-1, securing 32 points and finishing 11th, thus remaining in the V-League. SLNA also achieved a dramatic escape from relegation by winning 2-0 away against The Cong Viettel.

Final rankings
Most disappointing was Ha Tinh FC's 0-0 draw against Thanh Hoa, despite playing at home and having a man advantage. SLNA and Ha Tinh both have 30 points and the same head-to-head record (1-1 draw in both legs), but the Nghe An team is ranked higher than Ha Tinh due to a better goal difference.
Therefore, Ha Tinh will play a play-off match against PVF-CAND to compete for a spot in the V-League next season, while Khanh Hoa will be relegated.
Prizes: Nam Dinh, the champion, received 5 billion VND from VPF. Binh Dinh, the runner-up, received 3 billion VND. Hanoi, the third-place team, received 1.5 billion VND.
The top scorer is Rafealson of Nam Dinh with 31 goals.
The awards gala will be organized by VPF on July 9th in Hanoi.
