Episode 5 of "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" recently aired, surprising viewers with Bảo Anh being the first contestant to be eliminated.
Before the first performance, Bao Anh unexpectedly appeared to say goodbye to the remaining 29 "beautiful ladies." The singer stated that due to personal and health reasons, she could not continue with the program. Bao Anh also apologized to the members of the group Di Du Dua Di and hoped that the remaining four members would deliver a truly spectacular performance for the audience.
"Hopefully, the journey ahead for all of us will be successful and we'll have spectacular performances for the audience. I hope the girls in my team won't be discouraged and will try their best for me too. I will be following all of your journeys in this program," the female singer said.
Bảo Anh withdrew from the program due to health reasons.
MC Anh Tuan, representing the organizing committee, shared the reason why Bao Anh had to withdraw. He announced: "Due to various personal reasons, Bao Anh was unable to maintain the time for rehearsals with her teammates and filming for the program. According to the program's format, Bao Anh's journey will end here. Therefore, on the first night of the performance, the group "Di Du Dua Di" will only have 4 members."
Sharing her thoughts on Bao Anh's forced departure, Giang Hong Ngoc said: "I am very sad and regretful that Bao Anh had to stop. If Bao Anh had been there, the performance would have been more complete and perfect. However, my group told ourselves that since we were unlucky, we shouldn't dwell on that sadness anymore, but instead work together to create the most perfect performance possible for all the audience and the beautiful ladies who were looking forward to our performance."
Trang Phap felt sad that Bao Anh had to leave the competition and couldn't perform with her alongside Quynh Nga, Huyen Baby, and Giang Hong Ngoc.
Bao Anh had wanted to participate in the program to open up to other women.
Previously, when talking about her decision to participate in the 2023 "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves" competition, Bao Anh said she wanted to have new experiences, open up to people, and find a group of female friends.
"I've just gone through a personal battle. Women's inner lives are often very complex, and I'm no exception; I've had my own battles and challenges that I've had to overcome," she confided.
