Storm No. 1 gradually weakens

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that by 1:00 p.m. on June 15, storm No. 1 will move northeast at a speed of 15-20 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression. At this time, the center of the tropical depression is located over the mainland of Guangdong province (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7, gusting to level 9.

At 1:00 a.m. on June 16, the tropical depression moved northeast at a speed of 20-25 km/h and gradually weakened into a low pressure area. At this time, the center of the low pressure area was over the mainland of Guangdong province (China). The strongest wind was below level 6.

Due to the impact of storm No. 1, the sea area east of the northern Gulf of Tonkin has strong winds of level 7-8, the area near the storm's center has winds of level 9-10, gusts of level 12, waves 2.0-4.0m high, very rough seas.

The sea area west of the Northern Gulf of Tonkin (including Co To and Bach Long Vi island districts) and the northwest of the Northern East Sea area has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, waves 2.0-3.0m high, rough seas.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 15, the Northern region will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places will be over 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly at 55-60%; from June 16, the heat will gradually ease.

On June 15-16, the area from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places will be over 38 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is commonly 50-55%.
