Preserving the digital value of historical and cultural heritage.

Youth union members in Ha Hoa town scanned the QR code to learn about the Man Pagoda historical site.

Digitizing historical relics through QR codes is one of the outstanding activities of the youth of Phu Tho province in implementing digital transformation. To date, the entire province has more than 20 projects under the theme "Youth of Phu Tho Province digitizing historical and cultural relics and red addresses" at historical and cultural sites. The QR code system introducing information about historical and cultural relics is an effective method to promote and introduce the most useful information to people and tourists, contributing to smart tourism promotion. Immediately after scanning the QR code, people and tourists can easily find information introducing and promoting the location corresponding to each scanned QR code on the website https://www.ditichphutho.vn.

As a locality with many ranked historical relics, totaling 56 historical and cultural relics, 100% of the relics and relic complexes in Viet Tri city have QR code check boards. These bilingual QR code boards (Vietnamese and English) are placed at the entrances of the relics, making it convenient for residents and tourists to look up information. This is one of the solutions to promote the historical relics and unique cultural features of Viet Tri city.

After visiting and experiencing Xoan singing at Hung Lo Temple, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nhung from Hanoi shared: "By scanning the QR code placed here, I could easily find useful information for tourists, especially those visiting for the first time. In particular, the introductory and explanatory audio information made it convenient for us to learn about the history, architecture, and culture of Hung Lo while we were sightseeing."

Not only in Viet Tri city, but many historical relics in other localities in the province have also been digitized, such as: Khoang Temple, Thach Khoan Temple, Thanh Son district; Au Co Mother Temple, Ha Hoa district; Tien Dong Base, Cam Khe district; Ton Son Mo Xuan Base, Yen Lap district; Hoang Long Pagoda, Phu Ninh district; Du Yen Temple, Thanh Ba district; Dao Xa Temple, Thanh Thuy district; Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, Lam Thao district; Ly Nam De Temple and Danh Huu Temple; Phuc Thanh Pagoda, Duc Ba Temple, Tam Nong district...

Through the application of digital technologies , people can easily access and learn about historical sites through a wealth of digital data. The digitization of historical and cultural relics has made a positive contribution to the preservation and promotion of the value of historical and cultural relics in the ancestral homeland, accelerating digital transformation in promotion and attracting a large number of tourists to the cradle of the Vietnamese nation.
