Capture wanted subjects

On November 16, Chau Thanh Commune Police said they had coordinated with Phu Quoc Special Zone Police to arrest wanted suspect Danh Phung (born in 1996, residing in Minh Thanh quarter, Chau Thanh commune, An Giang province) while he was hiding in Phu Quoc Special Zone.

Previously, on November 30, 2024, Mr. Bong Van G took Ms. N to drink at an acquaintance's house in Minh Thanh neighborhood, Minh Luong town (now Chau Thanh commune, An Giang province). When leaving, Mr. G was blocked by Danh Phung (N's ex-boyfriend) and stabbed in the back with a knife, causing 11% injury. After committing the crime, Phung fled the area.

On October 7, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police issued a Decision to search for Danh Phung for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 134 of the Penal Code.

Using professional measures, Chau Thanh Commune Police discovered the subject hiding in Phu Quoc special zone and coordinated with Phu Quoc special zone Police to arrest the subject.

Currently, the subject Danh Phung has been transferred to Chau Thanh Commune Police to serve the investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
