Speaking in an interview on March 26, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said any Global Summit on Ukraine without Russia would be meaningless and would fail.

According to Mr. Peskov, Moscow will not stop the two-year conflict with Ukraine to protect itself from the West.
The Russian side rejected the plan implemented by the European Union (EU) and other countries to profit from controlling Russian assets and transferring them to Ukraine.
Previously, on March 21, one day before the shooting in Moscow, Mr. Peskov made a similar stance when asserting that the Ukraine issue cannot be resolved without Russia's participation.
In the past, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for the organization of a Global Peace Summit.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Switzerland also proposed to organize this event, but the date has not been announced.
