Accordingly, Lam Son terraced fields located in An Tho commune, Tuy An district are one of the destinations with beautiful scenery in Phu Yen.
Mr. Le Quoc Hung, from Phu Yen, said this is a one-crop field, planted before Tet and harvested about a month after Tet. Currently, the field only has stubble, not rice anymore. Therefore, visitors can plan to check-in the terraced fields in the green rice season and ripe rice in the following season.
With "layered" fields, with a view from above, Lam Son terraced fields are as beautiful as the famous terraced fields in the North such as Mu Cang Chai or Y Ty. As a famous beach resort in Phu Yen, few people know about Tuy An district, which possesses such an impressive terraced field scene.
The terraced fields have ripe yellow rice, green rice and even young rice… creating impressive arrays of colors.
To get to Lam Son terraced fields, from Tuy Hoa city, visitors follow Nguyen Tat Thanh street, cross the intersection with National Highway 1A, then continue on Lam Son plateau about 14km to arrive. If going from Binh Dinh direction, from National Highway 1A, visitors can turn to provincial road 643 to get there.
