Throughout the thrilling competition days, the athletes delivered impressive performances for the audience, clearly demonstrating the qualitative and quantitative development of the mass sports movement in the province.
The Games were held in two phases with a total of 20 sports and 112 events. At the conclusion of the events, the Organizing Committee awarded 112 sets of medals to the athletes who achieved high results.

The diverse range of competitive sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, sports dance, recreational dance, cross-country running, cycling, and tug-of-war, attracted a large number of athletes, creating a vibrant, exciting atmosphere and high professional standards.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded medals for the tug-of-war competition. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee presented Certificates of Commendation to collectives and individuals who had achieved outstanding results in organizing the Games.

According to the final medal standings, the Dien Bien Province Education and Training Sector team excellently won first place overall at the 12th Dien Bien Province Sports Festival in 2026. Following them were Dien Bien Phu ward in second place and Thanh Yen commune in third place...

In his closing remarks, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu, Vice Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The 12th Dien Bien Provincial Sports Festival in 2026 was a great success, achieving its set goals, creating a vibrant atmosphere of emulation throughout the province, and practically celebrating important political events of the country and the locality.

The Games brought together nearly 3,000 officials, coaches, and athletes from 56 delegations; the athletes competed with honesty, sportsmanship, and solidarity, achieving many outstanding results. Organization, management, security, and medical services were meticulously ensured, guaranteeing absolute safety.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province acknowledged the contributions of all levels, sectors, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the province. He also affirmed that the Congress contributed to promoting mass sports and physical training movements, selecting many outstanding athletes, and preparing them for regional and national competitions.
