Bebe Rexha cried because she was denied boarding the plane.

According to Page Six , Bebe Rexha shared tearfully on her personal page: "I was threatened. I thought the security officer was Albanian, so I went to speak to him in Albanian to ask where to get my ticket. And now he's forbidding me from boarding the flight."

The 34-year-old singer further revealed: “I believe this was hate, simply because I am Albanian. He then continued to psychologically abuse me to make me feel like he was the more powerful one. No one was there to intervene or say a word to help me. He didn’t give me his name, but I found out he worked for ATSG, a document control services company hired by Lufthansa.”

In the comments section, many people expressed concern for Bebe Rexha and outrage at the airport security staff's behavior. "I can't believe this happened," "Hope she gets home safely"... were some of the comments from viewers. Many also called for an investigation into the security staff member who threatened and banned Bebe Rexha from flying.

According to TMZ , a Lufthansa representative said the airline is in contact with Bebe Rexha to find out the full story. The airline said it will conduct a thorough investigation and will not tolerate any discriminatory behavior.

Bebe Rexha, whose real name is Bleta Rexha, was born in 1989 in Brooklyn, New York. Both her parents are Albanian. After signing with Warner Records in 2013, Rexha became known to the public as a songwriter, contributing to Eminem's single "The Monster ." Her career subsequently took off with collaborations with many famous artists such as Shinee, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj.

Her debut studio album, Expectations (2018), peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard 200 chart and earned two nominations for Best New Artist and Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 61st Grammy Awards. In 2023, the song " I'm Good (Blue)" from Rexha's third album reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the music charts in 22 countries.

However, a few weeks ago, the singer/songwriter shocked everyone by revealing she felt devastated by the ugly secrets of the music industry. “I’m very disappointed and have been silent for a long time,” Rexha wrote on social media. She argued that things needed to change before she exposed the truth – something that could “bring a large part” of the music industry to the brink of collapse.
